When possible, using a space where a window originally existed can save money and mess…

…by means of not having to change structural-supports,
and thus not having to deal with the drywall… |
…or in the case of this particular project, the lath and plaster.
|
We had the Simpson Model 7109 door manufactured to custom dimensions…
|
…so as to allow us to match the original sightlines of the adjoining window…
|
…and to eliminate
having to change the width or height of the original rough-opening. |
